Communications Director (open until filled) The Communications Director is the lead communications professional for NPA, the NPA Network of almost 30 organizations across the country, and NPA’s rapidly growing community of online activists. This person will lead our work to influence the public debate in America through narrative and message development, strategic communications, and media relations. NPA believes that we are in a battle of big ideas, not just a fight about issues, and the Communications Director is our field general in the ideas war.

Community Organizer with Grass Roots Organizing, Missouri (posted 3-24-13)
GRO is a central Missouri based social-justice dues paying membership organization with state and national reach. The mission is to create a grassroots voice to win economic justice and human rights for all Missourians. Some of the campaigns this year that the organizer may be involved in are Social Security, Medicare, MO Medicaid expansion, public housing residents advocacy, predatory lending reforms, corporate accountability, and other issues affecting our members.

CVH is seeking a highly experienced Director of Organizing to manage and build CVH’s organizing and campaign work. This position will manage the base building and campaign work in our four Chapters in New York City and the Hudson Valley. We are looking for someone who will be both a senior strategist in the organization as well as work intensively with our organizing team to help them reach their fullest potential in base-building, leadership development and winning strategic issue campaigns at the local, state and federal levels.

NYC Chapter Lead Organizer with Community Voices Heard (posted 3-10-13)
CVH is seeking an experienced lead organizer who wants to build and strengthen CVH’s New York City Chapter organizing, base-building, and campaign work. We are seeking a mid to senior level community organizer who wants to play a critical part in taking CVH to a new level of power and influence in the New York City progressive movement and in the political sphere.
