Over 1,000 activists from around the country will converge on Washington on April 18th to share their vision for a government and an economy that puts people and the planet before profits.
Populism2015 features national progressive leaders and grassroots activists involved in the fight for economic justice at all levels of government and society. Current campaigns includes the efforts to raise wages, combat climate change, address racial and gender inequality, and counter the impact of big money in politics.
The conference will advance a 12-point “Platform for People and the Planet” (available on the populism2015.org website). This consensus platform will guide grassroots movements across the country and inform the political and economic debates ahead of the 2016 election and beyond.
